Using Bioinformatics to Design CRISPR-Based Treatments for Genetic Diseases
The potential for off-target effects is a major factor in ethical discussions involving CRISPR-mediated gene editing technology. Learn how your students can use bioinformatics to design Cas9 target sites in the human genome and evaluate the risk of off-target effects.

This webinar will be presented by Jamie Allison, a Biotechnology and Proteomics Teacher at Loveland High School in Ohio. Jamie is also a Bio-Rad Explorer Fellow and PD instructor for GrowNextGen, with the goal of advancing teacher and student learning in the constantly changing field of biotech.
