How I Built It: An Ag-Focused Biotech Program
Are you looking to bring more modern, cutting-edge labs and activities into your agriculture curriculum? Need some inspiration for starting a dedicated biotechnology or laboratory skills course that supplements existing career pathways?

In this second webinar of the “How I Built It” series, Staci Brown will share her experience blending biotechnology with her agriculture science program. She'll share insights she's honed from nearly 25 years of classroom teaching, including tips and tricks on how to get started, manage a course, develop curriculum, maintain sustainability, recruit students, and win over stakeholders.

Staci Brown has degrees in science and agriculture education and currently teaches AP Biology, Biotechnology, Biology, Food Science, Veterinary Science, and Floral Design at Stillwater Area High School in Lakeland, MN. She's actively involved in the development of a national Agriculture Education curriculum and has trained many teachers in how to implement biotechnology in the classroom.

Note: No continuing education credits or certificates are being offered for attending this event. Attendees will receive an email after the event that they may use as proof of attendance. This webinar will be recorded and emailed to all registrants.
