Need some guidance building an introductory biotech course at your school? Bio-Rad Explorer Fellow Abbey Brockhouse will share her own experience infusing biotechnology in her high school classes, and offer strategies for launching a successful and sustainable biotech course.
Abbey will cover how she created a vision, built capacity, designed curriculum, recruited students and engaged stakeholders.
There will be time for Q&A during the webinar, and it will also be recorded and emailed to all registrants.
This webinar will be presented by Abbey Brockhouse, an AP Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology I & Biotechnology II instructor, HOSA Biotechnology Research Club Sponsor and HOSA co-sponsor at Skutt Catholic. She has an education and research background in Molecular Genetics & Immunology which she has used to advance student skills since 2012.
