Hands-On Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration with Algae Beads

Students often struggle with tying cellular respiration and photosynthesis together. Algae beads illuminate how both processes are interrelated in a easy-to-use unified experimental system!

In this live hands-on webinar developed with educators for educators, attendees will learn how to help their students connect these concepts with algae beads. The system also empowers students to extend their learning by experimenting with light intensity, light color, temperature, and other organisms.

The first 30 registrants based in the USA will receive one student workstation from the Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration kit so they can play along during the workshop. No equipment is needed - just easily accessible household items! If you are among the first 30 to sign up, you'll receive a form about a week before the event to input your shipping information.

This webinar will be presented by Karen Davis. Karen has been a reader, trainer, and a College Board consultant for AP Biology in addition to teaching the course for more than 20 of her 36 years in education. She has worked with students and educators in both urban and rural schools.
