CRISPR gene therapy is being used to cure diseases once thought incurable, and the approaches are even more diverse and creative than you might think!
In this live webinar developed with educators for educators, attendees will discover some of the most exciting CRISPR applications in development, including those for CAR-T and immunotherapies. The talk will also discuss strategies that scientists are using for personalized medicine, how the technology relates to key classroom concepts, and how students can model disease therapy with a real hands-on CRISPR lab activity.
This webinar will be presented by Damon Tighe, a former researcher at the Joint Genome Institute and high school teacher. He now supports educators in bringing contemporary biology techniques to their classrooms through the Bio-Rad Explorer program.
Note: No continuing education credits or certificates are being offered for attending this event. Attendees will receive an email after the event that they may use as proof of attendance.
