Students often struggle with tying cellular respiration and photosynthesis together. Algae beads let them explore both processes in one system!
In this live webinar developed with educators for educators we'll discuss how to extend student learning by experimenting with light intensity, light color, temperature, and other organisms.
The first 30 registrants based in the USA will receive materials needed to perform the Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration kits labs at home or school for free. No equipment is needed - just easily accessible household items! Additional registrants, and registrants based in other countries, are encouraged to attend will benefit from the discussions and observing the experiment.
This webinar will be presented by Jamie Allison, a Biotechnology and Proteomics Teacher at Loveland High School in Ohio. Jamie is also a Bio-Rad Explorer Fellow and PD instructor for GrowNextGen, with the goal of advancing teacher and student learning in the constantly changing field of biotech.
Note: No continuing education credits or certificates are being offered for attending this event. Attendees will receive an email after the event that they may use as proof of attendance.
